Verge Management (Grass Cutting) DEM 193/22

This memorandum provides direction on the management of grass verges along the road network.  It sets out the frequency of grass cutting on the various categories of roads to promote biodiversity enhancement practices. It also provides guidance on other environmental projects associated with verge management.
