The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Urban Clearways (Amendment No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2021” (S.R. 2021 No. 265), which comes into operation on 13 October 2021.
The Rule will revoke an existing clearway on Shore Road, Newtownabbey and replace it with a clearway on both sides of Shore Road, Greenisland/Newtownabbey on Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 9.30 am and between 3.00 pm and 6.30 pm. Vehicles are excepted from the restriction in certain circumstances.
During the current Covid-19 restrictions, a copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI Offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged either by email ondfiroads.northern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone on 0300 200 7899.
