Roads Service Policy & Procedure Guide (RSPPG_E040) Network Ownership, Management & Stewardship - Screening form

The revised policy and procedure guide will provide updated guidance on considering Temporary Traffic Regulations (TTR’s), namely road closures/lane closures etc. These are issued under Article 7 of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 (RTRO). The revised policy and procedure aims to provide clarity on the role of the Statutory Functions Officer and to resolve inconsistencies in how these events are dealt with across divisions as well as bringing the terminology up to date.
