Department for Infrastructure (DfI) Transport and Road Asset Management (TRAM) hosted an online Pre-Market Engagement event on 20 November 2025 to present proposals for the upcoming Structures and Road Restraint Systems Frameworks.
These frameworks are part of a suite of 11 new RAM Frameworks designed to cover all road maintenance, improvement, and capital works valued at up to £5 million. They represent a key deliverable of the Procurement Enhancement Programme procurement strategy, which aims to provide an efficient, cost-effective route for delivering road asset maintenance across Northern Ireland.
The event offered early insight into the forthcoming Structures and Road Restraint System Frameworks, including details of their proposed scopes, as well as an overview of the tendering, evaluation, award, and framework management procedures and requirements.
Presentation slides and a summary of the Q&A session from the event are available below.
