Revised RSPP on Renewable and Low Carbon Energy, to be incorporated within the SPPS, Edition 2 - Screening form

The SPPS is the Department’s policy framework for securing the orderly and consistent development of land and the planning of that development under the two-tier planning system. The provisions of the SPPS, including this policy revision to it, apply to the whole of the North; must be taken into account in the preparation of Local Development Plans, and are material to all decisions on individual planning applications and appeals.
