The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Prohibition of U-Turns (Belfast) Order (Northern Ireland) 2021”, (S.R. 2021 No. 275), which comes into operation on 25 October 2021.

The Order will prohibit vehicles proceeding in a south-westerly direction along Bridge Street, Belfast from making a U-Turn at its junction with High Street. The Order also revokes and re-enacts provisions in relation to the prohibition of U-Turns at other locations in Belfast.

During the current Covid-19 restrictions, a copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged by telephone on 0300 200 7899.
