The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Prohibition of U-Turns (Belfast) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2023” (S.R. 2023 No. 202) which comes into operation on 28 December 2023.
The Rule will prohibit vehicles travelling on the A55 Monagh Bypass, Belfast in a north-westerly or south-easterly direction from making a U-turn at its junction with Monagh Link. Vehicles are excepted from the prohibition in certain circumstances.
A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged either by email to traffic.eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone on 0300 200 7899.
