As part of the draft bicycle strategy consultation process which ended on 21 November 2014, a one day ‘Northern Ireland Changing Gear’ seminar took place on the 16 October in Belfast.
The seminar targeted decision makers who have an interest in promoting health and wellbeing, better cities and towns and sustainable transport in Northern Ireland. Around 180 delegates heard international and local speakers share their knowledge and enthusiasm on how using the bicycle for everyday journeys can benefit communities.
