    Copy of the public notice published regarding the following planning application instead of issuing individual notification letters to those who submitted representations due to the volume of correspondence received.

    LocationLands approximately 3km NW of Cairncastle and 4km NW of Ballygally, which are located immediately to the north of the Feystown Road in the Townlands of Ballycoos, Ballygawn, Ballygilbert, Lisnahay North and Lisnahay South Co Antrim. Access is provided directly from the Feystown Road where an existing agricultural entrance is located 0.35km west from the Antrim Hills Way Carpark. The Western site boundary is located approx 1.1km from the Feystown RC Church on the Feystown Road and the Eastern boundary is located approx 1.96km from the Drumnagreagh Rd. The Northern site boundary is approx. 4km from Glenarm village.
    ProposalErection of a windfarm comprising 14 (three-bladed) horizontal axis wind turbines, each up to a maximum of 149.9 m to tip height, with a total installed capacity of up to 58.8 MW. The Development would include an upgraded site entrance, access tracks, crane hardstandings, control building and substation compound, electricity transformers, underground cabling, energy storage containers and drainage works. During construction and commissioning there will be a number of temporary works including enabling works compound and construction compound with car parking, temporary parts of crane hardstanding, welfare facilities and off-site road widenings into 3rd party lands on the Brustin Brae Road, Ballycoose Road and Feystown Road.
