The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2020”, (S.R. 2020 No. 38) which comes into operation on 9 April 2020.
The Rule will create parking places with unlimited waiting in Banbridge, Bangor, Belfast, Cookstown, Donaghadee, Dundonald, Dunmurry, Londonderry, Newtownards, Maghera, County Londonderry and Rathfriland, a parking place with limited waiting in Belfast and remove parking places with unlimited waiting in Belfast, Londonderry and Newtownards.
