The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 9) Order (Northern Ireland) 2023”, (S.R. 2023 No. 206) which comes into operation on 28 December 2023.
The Rule will create parking places with unlimited waiting at Bangor, Belfast, Clogher, Dundonald, Irvinestown and Londonderry and remove parking places with unlimited waiting at Belfast, Downpatrick, Holywood and Newtownards.
A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged by telephoning 0300 200 7899.
