The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 5) Order (Northern Ireland) 2023”, (S.R. 2023 No. 154) which comes into operation on 19 October 2023.
The Rule will create parking places with unlimited waiting at Carrickfergus, Dromore County Down, Kilkeel, Larne, Londonderry, Newry and Sixmilecross and amend the description of an existing parking place with unlimited waiting at Londonderry.
A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged by telephoning 0300 200 7899.
