    The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2024”, (S.R. 2024 No.170) which comes into operation on 7 October 2024.

    The Rule will create parking places with unlimited waiting in Belfast, Cookstown, Larne, Lurgan, Newry, Portadown, Rostrevor, Tempo and Warrenpoint and remove parking places with unlimited waiting in Bangor, Belfast and Newtownards.

    A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged by telephoning 0300 200 7899.
