The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking Places and Waiting Restrictions (Downpatrick) Order (Northern Ireland) 2024”, (S.R. 2024 No. 27) which comes into operation on 22 March 2024.

Details

The Rule will remove a loading bay with limited waiting on Irish Street, Downpatrick and amend the conditions of an existing parking place.  Vehicles are excepted from the restriction in certain circumstances.

The Order will update the definitions of “postal packet” and “universal service provider” and will also revoke and re-enact other parking places and waiting restrictions in Downpatrick.

A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged by telephoning 0300 200 7899.
