The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Carrickfergus) Order (Northern Ireland) 2023”, (S.R. 2023 No. 196), which comes into operation on 28 December 2023.

Details

The Rule will authorise a length of Castle Street, Carrickfergus for use as a parking place and prescribe the conditions under which it may be used.

The Rule will also prohibit vehicles waiting at any time (loading and unloading not permitted) on a length of Antrim Street and North Street, Carrickfergus. Vehicles are excepted from the conditions and prohibition in certain circumstances.

The Rule will also revoke and re-enact certain other parking places and waiting restrictions in Carrickfergus.
