    The Department has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Moyallan Road, Portadown and College Lands Road, Charlemont (Part-Time 20mph Speed Limit) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016 (S.R. 2016 No. 39) which will come into operation on 3 March 2016.

    The order will introduce a part-time speed limit of 20 miles per hour on a length of College Lands Road, Charlemont adjacent to St. Peter’s Primary School and Moyallan Road, Portadown adjacent to Moyallon Primary School.

    The effect of the order is that the national speed limit, which is applicable to that length of College Lands Road and Moyallan Road, shall be reduced to 20 miles per hour when a 20 miles per hour limit is indicated by means of a variable message traffic sign.
