    The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Motor Hackney Carriages (Bangor) Bye-Laws (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016”, (S.R. 2016 No. 350), which comes into operation on 17 October 2016.

    The Order will legislate for a taxi-stand on Abbey Street, Bangor to allow a maximum of ten taxis to use it at any one time.

    The stand is available for use at any time.

    The Order will also amend the description of another taxi stand in Abbey Street, Bangor.

    No vehicle other than a taxi will be permitted to use the stands.
