THE LOADING BAYS ON ROADS (AMENDMENT) ORDER (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2025
The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Loading Bays on Roads (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2025”, (S.R. 2025 No.145) which comes into operation on 8th October 2025.
The Rule will provide a loading bay for use by all vehicles loading and unloading certain goods on a length of: -
• Kennedy Place, Derry/Londonderry to operate at all times on all days; and
• The Diamond, Derry/Londonderry to operate 8.00 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive.
Vehicles are excepted from the conditions in certain circumstances.
A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.).
