The Department is proposing to amend the wording of the “gas-fired appliance” definition in Regulation 2(1) of the Motor Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999 because the current reference to “British Gas Corporation” in the definition is out of date. The Department proposes to amend this to “gas licence holder”.
