Disability Discrimination Act obligations: response to requests for on-street measures DEM 086/05

Memorandum setting out the responsibilities of the department under part III of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA). Setting standards and establishing procedures for dealing with applications from third parties who wish to alter the public road to provide disabled access to their premises and for the provision of on-road disabled parking and waiting facilities outside non-residential buildings in response to the requirements of the DDA.
