Details

The Department conducted a public consultation on the Draft Bicycle Network in early 2017. This collation of the responses to the consultation provides detail on points raised by respondents.  Further work is now underway to revise the proposals, taking account of the issues raised.  Any decision on the final Belfast Bicycle Network will be for the consideration of a future Minister for Infrastructure.

Development of the bicycle infrastructure in Belfast continues, most recently along Middlepath Street where work has started on a segregated cycle lane.
