The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Bus Lanes (Ballygowan Road and Castlereagh Road Corridor, Belfast) Order (Northern Ireland) 2022”, (S.R. 2022 No. 278), which comes into operation on 18th November 2022.
The Rule will revoke and replace existing bus lanes and introduce new extended lengths of bus lanes on Ballygowan Road and Castlereagh Road, Belfast in which only buses, cycles, motor cycles, permitted taxis and certain specified vehicles are permitted.
A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged either by email to traffic.eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone on 0300 200 7899.
