Building an Active Travel future for Northern Ireland

As part of a wider programme of work to develop more sustainable transport arrangements, the Department established a cross-sectoral Active Travel Forum in March 2010. Drawing representation from across government departments, local government, the voluntary and community sector, and the private sector, the Forum was tasked with developing a high level strategy for Active Travel.
