The Department for Infrastructure has commissioned Atkins to provide professional services in relation to developing a North West Transport Study (NWTS) under the Strategic Transport Planning and Modelling – Managed Services Framework.
The purpose of this commission was to undertake transport modelling to understand the potential effects of different types of transport measures. The results of the modelling were used to identify those measures that would best support the future local development plan for the council area.
