Abandonment/Stopping-up Orders article 68 of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993 RSPPG S019

DfI Roads policy and procedures guide for the implementation of an abandonment order so that the road ceases to be maintainable by the Department and any public right of way over it is extinguished and for a stopping-up order preventing access by vehicular traffic and/or pedestrian traffic where the Department remains responsible for maintenance of the road.
