£150,000 road improvement scheme for Old Coach Road

Date published: 12 September 2019

The scheme will deliver significant improvements to both the structural integrity and surface of the road.

To facilitate the resurfacing a weekday road closure will be in operation between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm, from Monday 16 September until Friday 11 October. During these times a diversion will be in place via Edentrillick Road – Dromara Road – Dromore Road and vice versa. A diversion will be clearly signposted.

Resurfacing work

The Department has carefully programmed the scheme in order to minimise disruption, however, road users may experience some delays and should allow additional time  when planning any journeys. Access for residents will be maintained throughout the scheme.

It is expected work will be substantially completed by late October, however, this is subject to favourable weather conditions and the Department will keep the public informed of any change.
