Infrastructure Minister Chris Hazzard has announced the completion of major strengthening works costing £200,000 to Verners Bridge at Tamnamore near Dungannon.

The extensive contract work included strengthening, refurbishment and painting of the existing steel structure.
Minister Hazzard said:
“This is a major investment for the local area. The Tamnamore Road, on which Verners Bridge is located, is in close proximity to the M1 motorway and is an important link road for local users. The old bridge has been sympathetically restored enabling it to be used for many years to come.”
The bridge works were carried out on behalf of TransportNI by HBS (Highway Barrier Solutions), Castlereagh, Belfast.
