The scheme will take approximately four weeks to complete and will upgrade and replace existing road drainage which has become defective. Work will involve the provision of a new carrier pipeline and associated gully and manhole connections to enhance the existing system.

The work will be carried out overnight in order to minimise any disruption and inconvenience to the public, however, some minor delays may be expected as a temporary 30mph speed limit will be in place to facilitate the safe execution of this work. Motorists are requested to comply with the restrictions and exercise caution when travelling through the area.

The scheme is expected to be completed by the end of June, however dates are subject to favourable weather conditions and the Department will keep the public informed of any change.
