The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Urban Clearways (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2020.

Consultation description

The Order will create a clearway on the west side of Donegall Square East, Belfast on Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 9.30 am and between 4.30 pm and 6.00 pm. Vehicles are excepted from the restriction in certain circumstances.

The Order will also correct a drafting error in The Urban Clearways Order (Northern Ireland) 2016.

Inspecting the proposal

Full details are contained in the draft Order which, together with a map showing the road involved, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period below at the Department's address as follows:

Making an objection

Any person may, before 21 August 2020, object or make other representations to the proposal by writing to the Department at the address above or by emailing transportlegislationbranch@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk stating the grounds for objection.
