Summary

Notice is hereby given that under ‘Article 65’ of the ‘Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993’ the Department for Infrastructure proposes to provide traffic calming measures on Victoria Crescent, Wesley Street, Low Road, Grand Street, Lisburn to control the speed of traffic.

The works will consist of:

Victoria Crescent, Lisburn

  • One flat top taper sided road humps, 9.0m long, 7.0m wide and 80mm high
  • One flat top taper sided road hump, 8.1m long, 6.95m wide and 50mm high

Wesley Street, Lisburn

  • ​Two flat top taper sided road humps, 9.0m long, 6.2m wide and 80mm high

Low Road, Lisburn

  • ​Four flat top taper sided road humps, 9.0m long, width varies and 80mm high

Grand Street, Lisburn

  • One flat top taper sided road hump, 8.1m long, 8.8m wide and 50mm high
  • Two flat top taper sided road humps, 9.0m long, width varies and 80mm high
  • Three pairs of speed cushions, each cushion 3.1m long, 1.9m wide and 80mm high
  • One flat top kerb to kerb road hump 9.4m long, 8.5m wide and 80mm high

All road humps will be constructed in accordance with The ‘Road Humps Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999’.  All road markings and signage will be in accordance with the ‘Traffic Signs Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997’.
