    Summary

    Notice is hereby given that under Article 65 of the Road (NI) Order 1993 DFI-Roads proposes to construct a series of road humps on Upper Cairncastle Road, Larne, between Antiville Road and Greenway, to control the speed of traffic.

    Consultation description

    The road humps will be constructed in accordance with the Road Humps Regulations (NI) 1999.

    The works will consist of:-

    • Four flat top road humps, 2 of which will be side tapered, and 2 from kerb to kerb in order to incorporate an uncontrolled pedestrian crossing facility.

    Each hump will measure approximately 7.5m in width, 11 metres in length and 75mm in height.

    Full details are contained on a plan showing the roads involved and may be inspected free of charge at the addresses below.

    Making an objection

    Objections or other representation may be made to the Department, at the address below, before 27 December 2018. All objections or other representations must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made.
