    Summary

    Notice is hereby given that under ‘Article 65’ of the ‘Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993’ the Department for Infrastructure proposes the installation of traffic calming measures on McClure Street, Belfast to control the speed of traffic.

    Consultation description

    The works will consist of:

    • 1 No flat top road hump entrance feature, kerb to kerb width and 50mm high
    • 7 No flat top tapered road humps, 4.1m long, varied widths and 75mm high

    All road humps will be constructed in accordance with The ‘Road Humps Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999’. All road markings and signage will be in accordance with the ‘Traffic Signs Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997’.

    Access to this building is limited and inspection of the traffic calming proposal is by appointment only which can be arranged either by email using traffic.eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.

    Making an objection

    Any person may object or make other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, by writing to the Department at the address above or by emailing traffic.eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk before 22 April 2024.
