Notice is hereby given that under ‘Article 65’ of the ‘Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993’ the Department for Infrastructure proposes to provide traffic calming measures on Knockenagh Avenue, Newtownabbey to control the speed of traffic.

Consultation description

The works will consist of:

  • One pair of speed cushions, each cushion 3.1m long, 1.9m wide and 80mm high

All road humps will be constructed in accordance with The ‘Road Humps Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999’.  All road markings and signage will be in accordance with the ‘Traffic Signs Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997’.

Making an objection

Objections to these proposals may be made in writing to the Department for Infrastructure, via e-mail to dfiroads.northern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk  or via letter to the address below before 31 August 2021.
