Summary

Notice is hereby given that under ‘Article 65’ of the ‘Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993’ the Department for Infrastructure proposes to provide traffic calming measures on Fennel Road, Antrim to control the speed of traffic.

Consultation description

The works will consist of:

  • One flat top taper sided road hump, 7.5m long, 7m wide and 80mm high
  • One flat top taper sided road hump, 10m long, 5.8m wide and 50mm high
  • Two pairs of speed cushions, each cushion 3.1m long, 1.9m wide and 80mm high
  • One flat top taper sided road hump 3.4m long, 10.6m wide and 80mm high

All road humps will be constructed in accordance with The ‘Road Humps Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999’. All road markings and signage will be in accordance with the ‘Traffic Signs Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997’.
