Summary

Notice is hereby given that under ‘Article 65’ of the ‘Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993’ the Department for Infrastructure proposes to provide traffic calming measures on Causeway End Road, Lisburn to control the speed of traffic.

Consultation description

The works will consist of:

  • One flat top taper sided road humps, 5.5m long, 6.0m wide and 80mm high
  • Two flat top taper sided road humps, 5.5m long, 7.5m wide and 80mm high
  • One flat top taper sided road hump, 5.5m long, 7.5m wide and 50mm high

All road humps will be constructed in accordance with The ‘Road Humps Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999’.  All road markings and signage will be in accordance with the ‘Traffic Signs Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997’.
