    Summary

    Notice is hereby given that under Article 65 of the Roads (NI) Order 1993, The Department proposes to introduce road humps and other traffic calming works to control the speed of traffic.

    Consultation description

    The road humps will be constructed in accordance with the Road Humps Regulations (NI) 1999, other features will be constructed in accordance with the Traffic Calming Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1995, and consist of:

    1. Provision of 20 mph Zones in the above area including appropriate signing and red surfacing at the entry point.
    2. 2 no set of flat top road humps with tapered ends, approximately 4.1m long, kerb to kerb width and 75-80mm high, at each of the following locations:
    • Adjacent to no 02/40 Ballygittle Road, Killeen
    • Adjacent to no 32/34 Ballygittle Road, Killeen

    Inspecting the proposal

    A map showing the road humps and other traffic calming works may be inspected free of charge, during office hours at the Department's address as follows;

    Making an objection

    Objections or other representations may be made to the Omagh address above before 14 September 2020.
