Consultation description
This phase aims to provide 1.3km of new high quality greenway, connecting Andersonstown to existing facilities in the Bog Meadows and providing links to the Royal Victoria Hospital and existing infrastructure into the City Centre.
The Proposals include:
- A new 4m wide greenway between the Bog Meadows and Kennedy Way
- Environmentally friendly lighting
- Landscaping to support biodiversity
The Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 places a statutory duty on applicants to consult the community prior to submitting a planning application falling within the ‘major’ category.
As part of the Pre-Application Community Consultation, a Public Information Event will be held as follows:
