The Parking Places on Roads (Coaches) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2020

The Order authorises the use as a parking place for coaches of―

• a length of Merchants Quay, Newry on all days with waiting limited to 20 minutes and no return within 1 hour: and
• lengths of Stranmillis Road, Belfast and Water Street, Londonderry on all days with waiting limited to 20 minutes and no return within 1 hour between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm and no limit between 6.00 pm and 8.00 am

Vehicles are excepted from the restriction in certain circumstances.

Inspecting the proposals

Full details are contained in the draft Order which, together with maps showing the roads involved, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period below at the addresses below:

During the current Covid-19 emergency access to these buildings is limited and inspection of the draft Order is by appointment only which can be arranged either by e-mail using the relevant office e-mail address above or by telephone during office hours (Mon to Fri 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.

Making an objection

Any person may, before 7 August 2020, object or make other representations to the proposal by writing to the Department at the addresses above or by emailing stating the grounds for objection.
