The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 7) Order (Northern Ireland) 2023.

Consultation description

The Order will create parking places with unlimited waiting at

  • Belfast: Harrow Street in front of No. 2, Linfield Road in a parking area to the side of No. 40, Loopland Drive in a lay -by in front of No. 87, Portallo Street in front of No. 21, Reid Street in front of No. 28 and Sunningdale Grove in front of No. 9;
  • Dundonald: Coronation Park to the rear of No. 53;
  • Enniskillen: Hillview Road in a parking area to the rear of No. 1 Hillview Park and No. 14 Hillview Road;
  • Lisburn: Causeway Meadows in a parking area in front of No. 81 and Sloan Street in front of No. 32; and
  • Londonderry: Lower Nassau Street in front of No. 28.

All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.

The Order will remove parking places with unlimited waiting at Belfast: Larkfield Gardens in front of No. 53 and Strandburn Drive in front of No. 79.

Inspection of the draft Order is by appointment only which can be arranged either by e-mail using the relevant office e-mail address above or by telephone during office hours (Mon to Fri 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.
