The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 6) Order (Northern Ireland) 2020.

Consultation description

The Order will create parking places with unlimited waiting at:

  • Belfast: Greenville Road in front of No. 3, Joanmount Park in front of No. 111 and Kensington Avenue in front of No. 51;
  • Carrickfergus: Wesley Court in front of No, 16;
  • Crossgar: John Street in front of No. 19;
  • Downpatrick: Lynn Doyle Place in front of No. 17;
  • Dundonald: Enler Park Central in front of No. 48;
  • Lisburn: Ashmount Park in front of No. 18;
  • Londonderry: Lawrence Hill in front of No. 8;
  • Trillick: Main Street in front of No. 63 (Trillick Pharmacy).

The Order will remove parking places with unlimited waiting at:

  • Belfast: Cavendish Square in front of No. 1 and River Terrace in front of No. 60.

All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.

During the current Covid-19 emergency access to these buildings is limited and inspection of the draft Order is by appointment only which can be arranged either by e-mail using the relevant office e-mail address above or by telephone during office hours (Mon to Fri 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.
