    Summary

    The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 5) Order (Northern Ireland) 2020.

    Consultation description

    The Order will create parking places with unlimited waiting at:

    • Antrim: Edenvale Park in a parking area in front of No. 6 and Kilbride Gardens in a parking area in front of a grassed area to the front of No. 11b;
    • Aughnacloy: Coronation Park in a lay-by to the side of No. 20;
    • Belfast: Andersonstown Park South in front of No. 20, Bloomfield Crescent in front of No. 12, Cliftonville Road in a lay-by in front of No. 180, Clonduff Drive in front of No. 109, Farnham Street in front of No. 34, Glantane Drive in front of No. 50, Glenbank Place in front of No. 39a, Grays Park in a parking area to the western side of a grassed area in front of 2 Grays Park Avenue, Greenville Road in front of No. 16 and Ulsterdale Street in front of No. 16;
    • Castlederg: Killeter Road in front of No. 12 Castleview Terrace;
    • Holywood: Trevor Street in front of No. 29;
    • Larne: Princes Gardens in front of No. 1 and Wellington Avenue in a lay-by to the side of No. 32;
    • Lisburn: Iniscarn Park in a parking area in front of No. 10b and Redpoll Avenue in front of No. 10;
    • Newtownabbey: Ballyvesey Court in front of No. 9 and Rathmore Drive in front of No. 82;
    • Saintfield: Downpatrick Street in a lay-by in front of No. 56 and Main Street in front of Nos. 34-36 (Massey’s Delicatessen);
    • Shrigley: Crossgar Road in a lay-by in front of No. 33
    • Whitehead: Ransevyn Drive in a parking area in front of No. 15 Ransevyn Court.

    The Order will remove parking places with unlimited waiting at:

    • Bangor: Primrose Street in front of No. 23;
    • Holywood: Trevor Street in front of No. 34;
    • Killyleagh: High Street in front of No. 23;

    In Dromore, County Down as part of an Environmental Improvement Scheme the Order will relocate an existing parking place with unlimited waiting at Market Square from in front of No. 31 (Browne’s) to in front of No. 33 (Hope & Soul).

    All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.
