The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2022.

The Order will create parking places with unlimited waiting at Ballymena: Lanntara, Ballee in front of No. 74; Belfast: Aigburth Park in front of No. 20, Clarawood Park in front of No. 1, Kilmore Close in front of No. 12, Limestone Road in front of No. 48, Lisavon Drive in front of No. 18, My Lady’s Road in front of No. 89, Ponsonby Avenue in front of No. 47, Sandbrook Park in front of No. 22 and Victoria Drive in front of No. 47, Carrickfergus: Larne Road, Eden in front of No. 165; Cookstown: Tullywiggan Road in front of No. 31 Tullywiggan Cottages; Dundonald: Galway Park in front of No. 70a; Lisburn: Tullynacross Road in front of No. 9 Hilden View; Londonderry: Bishop Street in front of Nos. 78/80, Fahan Street in a car park to the side of 21 Lisfannon Park and St Columbs Wells in a parking area to the rear of No. 8; Newtownards: Talbot Street in front of No. 32 and West Street in front of No. 13.

The Order will also remove parking places with unlimited waiting at Belfast: Greenville Road in front of No. 3; Carrickfergus: Princes Way in front of No. 2; Greyabbey: Main Street in front of No. 36; Londonderry: Lawrence Hill in front of No. 6.

The Order will also amend the descriptions of 3 existing parking places in Londonderry: Fahan Street in front of Nos. 4, 5 and 6.

All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.
