    Summary

    The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled the Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 10) Order (Northern Ireland) 2021.

    Consultation description

    The Order will create parking places with unlimited waiting at

    • Armagh: Cregagh Gardens to the side of No. 8;
    • Banbridge: Maryville Crescent in a lay-by in front of No. 6;
    • Belfast: Nevis Avenue in front of No. 64;
    • Camlough: Chapel Road in front of No. 44 St Malachy’s Park;
    • Dromore, (Co Down): Thornhill Drive in a lay-by to the side of No. 27;
    • Kilkeel: Rooney Park to the side of No. 29;
    • Killeen: O’Reilly Park to the side of No. 27;
    • Londonderry: Greenhaw Road in front of No. 4, Seymour Gardens, Caw to the side of No. 29 (Re-advertisement) and Sperrin Park, Caw in front of No. 233 and No. 235 (2 bays);
    • Newry: Barcroft Park in front of No. 9, College Gardens in front of No. 25 and Raymond Kelly Park in front of No. 19;
    • Rathfriland: Rosconnor Place in front of No. 5;
    • Seapatrick: Seapatrick Avenue to the rear of No. 7;
    • Trillick: Main Street in front of No. 36.

    The Order will also remove parking places with unlimited waiting at

    • Belfast: Hillview Avenue in front of No. 28 and Knockwood Grove in front of No.7;
    • Donaghadee: William Street in front of No. 57;
    • Dundonald: Craignish Crescent in front of No. 32;
    • Newtownards: Talbot Street in front of No. 31.

    The Order will also correct a drafting error in The Parking Places on Roads and Waiting Restrictions (Dungannon) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2021, in relation to parking places with unlimited waiting in Dungannon.

    All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.
