The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Whitehead) Order (Northern Ireland) 2020.

Consultation description

The Order will authorise lengths of Balmoral Avenue, Edward Road, Kings Road and Victoria Avenue, Whitehead for use as parking places and prescribe the conditions under which they may be used. Between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm Monday to Saturday inclusive parking will be limited to 1 hour with no return within 1 hour.

Vehicles are excepted from the prohibitions in certain circumstances.

The Order will also revoke and re-enact certain other existing waiting restrictions on lengths of Edward Road and Victoria Avenue.

Inspecting the proposals

Full details are contained in the draft Order which together with a map showing the roads involved may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period below at the Department's address as follows:
