Consultation description
The Order will –
- authorise lengths of Bishop Street Within, Londonderry for the use as parking places and prescribe the conditions under which they may be used. Between 8.00 am and 6.30 pm Monday to Saturday inclusive, parking will be limited to 1 hour with return to the parking place prohibited until 1 hour has expired. Vehicles are excepted from the conditions in certain circumstances.
- prohibit vehicles waiting at any time on lengths of Bishop Street Within and Bonds Hill, Londonderry (loading and unloading permitted) and on a length of Abbey Street, Londonderry (loading and unloading not permitted). Vehicles are excepted from the prohibition in certain circumstances.
The Order will also revoke and re-enact certain other parking places and waiting restrictions in Londonderry.

Inspection of the draft Order and map is by appointment only which can be arranged either by email using trafficwestern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 028 8225 4085.
Making an objection
Any person may object or make other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, by writing to the Department at the address below or by emailing trafficwestern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk before 24 March 2023.
