The Department for Infrastructure proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Londonderry) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2018.

Consultation description

The Order will:

  • authorise lengths of Fountain Street, Londonderry for use as parking places and prescribe the conditions under which they may be used. Between 8.00 am and 6.30 pm Monday to Saturday inclusive parking will be limited to 1 hour and no return within 1 hour.
  • prohibit vehicles waiting at any time (loading and unloading not permitted) on lengths of Aberfoyle Crescent and Great James Street, Londonderry.
  • prohibit vehicles waiting at any time (loading and unloading permitted) on lengths of Lone Moor Road, Londonderry.

Vehicles are excepted from the prohibitions in certain circumstances.

Inspecting the proposals

Full details are contained in the draft Order which together with maps showing the roads involved may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period below at the Department’s address as follows:

Making an objection
