    Consultation description

    The Order will authorise lengths of Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast for use as parking places and prescribe the conditions under which they may be used. Between 8.00 am and 6.00 pmMonday to Saturday inclusive, parking will be limited to 1 hour with return to a parking place prohibited for 1 hour. Vehicles are excepted from the prohibition in certain circumstances.

    Full details are contained in the draft Order which, together with maps showing the roads involved, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period below at the Department’s address below:

    Inspection of the draft Order and maps is by appointment only which can be arranged either by e-mail using the e-mail address below or by telephone during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.

    Making an objection

    Any person may, before 30 December 2024, object or make other representations to the proposal in writing to the Department at the address above or by emailing traffic.eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk stating the grounds for objection.
