This is a joint consultation with the Scottish Government, the Welsh Government and the Department for Infrastructure and the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs in Northern Ireland.
We want to hear your views on our plans to introduce mandatory water efficiency labelling across all UK nations. We propose to label water using products such as taps, showers, toilets, dishwashers and washing machines. This consultation sets out:
- our proposed approach
- products covered by the label
- label design and features
- label display
- standards to support the label.
Your responses will shape the development of processes, guidance and secondary legislation.
