Consultation description
The Order will -
• provide a segregated two-way cycle track on a length of Ballymacarrett Road and Island Street, Belfast;
• provide a shared footway/cycle track on a length of Dee Street and Island Street, Belfast;
• prohibit vehicles waiting at any time (loading and unloading permitted) on lengths of Ballymacarrett Road and Island Street, Belfast;
• prohibit vehicles waiting at any time (loading and unloading not permitted) on lengths of Ballymacarrett Road and Island Street; and
• introduce parking places for disabled persons’ vehicles with unlimited waiting on a length of Ballymacarrett Road, Belfast.
Vehicles are excepted from the prohibition in certain circumstances.

Inspection of the draft Order and maps is by appointment only which can be arranged either by email to Activetravel.Eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) on 0300 200 7899.
