    Summary

    The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) gives notice of its proposal to abandon an area of 72 square metres of road on Rockfield Park, Portaferry adjacent to No. 31 Rockfield Park, Portaferry, after completion of such works as the Department considers necessary for the provision of alternative facilities for road traffic.

    Inspecting the proposal

    The area of road proposed to be abandoned is delineated on a map, which together with a copy of a draft order, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period from 26 August 2021 to 4 October 2021 at

    During the current Covid-19 restrictions, access to this building is limited and inspection of the draft Order is by appointment only which can be arranged either by e-mail using the e-mail address below or by telephone during office hours (Mon to Fri 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.

    Making an objection

    Any person may, within the period above, object to the proposal by writing to the Department at the address below or by emailing southernlandsteam@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk stating the grounds of the objection.
